In 2018, experienced builders Eddie Duroe and Coburn Polebitski formed Sound Builders Northwest, combining 40+ years of craftsmanship and expertise. With roots in fine home construction, boat building, and wood technology, the team specializes in custom projects for discerning homeowners.

As general contractors, we have a full breadth of knowledge of the totality and quality control of all processes involved in building an extraordinary home, from the foundation to the roof and everything in between. SBNW prides itself on high-quality carpentry and an eye for precision.

Born and raised in Seattle, Eddie has worked in home construction since 2003, Before starting Sound Builders Northwest, Eddie led his own contracting business since 2013. Eddie and his wife Christina have a passion for travel, great food, and fine cooking. They live in Ravenna with their two young daughters.

Coburn hails from Wisconsin and has worked in home construction since 2005. Prior to starting Sound Builders Northwest, Coburn led his own contracting business since 2010. Coburn and his wife Alexis love spending time outdoors and have an undying loyalty to the Green Bay Packers. They live in Ballard with their three young children.
